Best Defender

The Football School which the boy attends, conducted the yearly Inter Center League. This time in his age group, his Center topped the category and he was awarded the Best Defender. Needless to say, he was thrilled!

School Football

The boy gave the school football team selections a miss this time. His point was that matches are few, there are many contenders and he hardly gets a chance to play in the matches. The school training requires the boy to be in school on Monday's and Wednesdays at 630 am and there is a whole lot of getting ready to do for the wife and him before that.

Roots ICL

The boy participated in the Roots Inter Center League (ICL) Football matches, and it has been a good learning experience. His team finished 6th out of 8 teams. He has been slowly easing off the Minecraft youtube videos. The audio is extremely annoying with the constant "tak tak" sound and the squealing voices.

Interhouse Football match

I had started physically going to work 1-2 days this month and the boy suddenly called.

His house had won the inter house match and he scored 2 goals! He was thrilled. 

Football

In the ground started again at Turf Park, 10 am to 11.30 am It was good to have the boy out and in the ground. They had stopped on 22/April after the 2nd Wave. 

Happy(?) New Year

On the bright side, we were alive, not infected and had means of livelihood. 

It was a quiet New Year where we watched a movie at ABAA's home - Maleficent 2. At midnight we wished each other, finished the movie came down to our apartment.

Sunday was again football class for the boy. I took this time of nearly 1.5 hours to walk around the field.

Back to the ground

The boy's football class on the ground was restarted today after the State Government started opening up. Not many children turned up but it was good to be on the ground. All the children had a sizable virtual square in which they had to stay and do all the practicing.

Sports Day and Football

The boy participated in the Sports Day in the apartment and came first in the potato race. He was thrilled.

He had threatened to give up on football and yesterday was the last class. Did a u-turn and said he wants to continue. I will know next weekend. The boy also wants to learn singing.

He has started to go to Ah's house on his own. The rule is not to stop anywhere, not to talk anyone and immediately call on the intercom when he gets there.

He has finally moved away from sipper water bottle. No more plastic ones. VIVA h2o Stainless Steel Trendy Water Bottle For Kids is what he uses now.

Fever

And out of school for 2 days. The boy was very upset that he could not attend school.
That did not deter him from attending football classes. He was also thrilled that he finally got to wear his new colors and shoes.

Football!

On Friday, the boy had his passport renewal. That went off peacefully.

The boy started on his football trial class and he is super excited and wants to take it up. Every Saturday and Sunday mornings.

He has learnt to take the potty seat, put it on the WC and do it on his own.
