Wife's slippers

He has grown so tall that he has started the wife's slippers when his own slippers broke. "Amma, I am taking your slippers"  And just like that...

Childrens Day and Scam

The boy wanted a Hawaiian Themed shirt for Children's Day event at school so borrowed Ah's father's shirt. It was pretty big for him. But he wore it as a jacket.

"Scam" is the new word he has learnt from his friends at school.

"Remember the Foosball kit I got for my birthday from J**r aunty? It is a scam. It does not have one of the boards in it"

PTM

The boy had Grade 4 PTM today. Feedback :- - Bright student, the teachers love to have him around - Reading comprehension is good - LOVES Maths and is always enthusiastic about it - Need to improve his spelling - Need to be more expressive when it comes to Science, work on his analysis and express his opinion - Need to work on his matras in Hindi

Fracture

And the boy got a hairline fracture on his left wrist. He was tackled in the football practice and while falling down landed on his left hand. Icing did not help and he still complained of pain. X-Ray confirmed it. Cast for 3 weeks along with a sling. Boy is afraid that the children in school will make fun of him, the wife told him it would be the opposite - all will fuss about him.

Signature

I needed the boy's signature for a family form and he was thrilled that he was asked to sign. Proudly scrawled his name :)
